Take Caution
The Costa del sol is great if your retired or have a business. Working for others is usually lower salary or worse illegal selling, if you intend moving to Spain, make sure you have money or a job, flying in the wind doesnt work that well here. I have seen many people lose their life saving here, they buy the dream bar, that has already had about 50 owners go bust in it, lose their money over a year and then sell at a loss to get out.. Caution, Caution.
The plus side
The weather is good, July and August are very hot. but the rest of the year is not a problem, we can even get some chilly days here, lowest I have seen in 7 years is 7c at night time, coldest day about 12c in the winter. If you have enough money and can afford not to work, then its a good a place as any to live, lots of English speaking people here, but you do need to learn some Spanish for town halls etc and legal stuff or you could need an interpreter.
- I believe the hourly rate is from about 5 Euros an hour here
